I am honored to invite you to a very important MCLE presentation hosted by the Italian American Lawyers of Orange County on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 6:00 PM, at the beautiful Antonello Ristorante, 3800 S. Plaza Dr., Santa Ana, CA 92704.

This evening will feature a timely and meaningful program:
“Equal Justice: Acknowledging and Reducing Implicit Bias in Our Legal Profession.”

Our distinguished speakers, Hon. Nancy Zeltzer (Ret.) and Robert D. Coviello, Esq., both of ADR Services, Inc., will guide us through this critical conversation. Attendees will receive one (1) hour of MCLE credit satisfying the Implicit Bias requirement.

This event goes beyond compliance. It’s about strengthening our profession by acknowledging challenges, addressing them with candor, and continuing to shape a legal community that is equitable and just for all.

LEX ROMANA


The first ever IALOC meeting took place at Joseph D'Antony’s home at which his mother, Adelaide, prepared and served a grand, homemade Italian meal. Also in attendance was Frank Barbaro, John Di Caro, Hon. James DeCesare, Richard Pacelli, Frank Terreri, Joe DiVencenzo and several others. Over many courses of delectable Italian dishes and many bottles of Italian wine, the IALOC was born. At that meeting, the group chose the name “Lex Romana” meaning “Roman law.” The founding fathers of the IALOC knew they were destined to turn this fledgling idea into a reality so all Italian American lawyers in Orange County and their family and friends could share in their legal gastronomic endeavor.
